Salem Mennonite Brethren Church began 125 years ago. We reside between the communities of Bridgewater and Freeman and have church family in Bridgewater, Freeman, Marion, Lesterville, Menno and in many places around the United States. We are a member of the Mennonite Brethren Central District conference.

Our purpose for existing is to worship and proclaim Christ, to edify, encourage and minister to all people.

 

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. It is without error and perfect for instruction on how to live our life.

 

We believe each person is born sinful and needs a Savior. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to be that Savior. Jesus took our sins upon Himself when He died on the cross so that we can appear pure and sinless one day before God. Jesus rose from the dead and sits with God in heaven where all those who believe this truth will spend eternity with Him.

 

We believe God provides forgiveness, peace, comfort, love, instruction, and meets our every need. Our lives and actions try to portray the love of God. We want to share this love and the good news with you!
